About Me
Gayle is a fashion and celebrity stylist who, over the past 30 years, has made her way to the very top of the fashion industry from Fashion Director on Harrods magazine to Style Director on The Voice UK. Her resumé boasts a fusion of editorial titles such as Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Interview, Hello! and Instyle and television work, such as Dancing On Ice, It Takes Two and The Voice, where she was responsible for creatively directing the style vision for presenters and contestants alike.
Gayle started her career on the fashion pages of the Daily Mail and went on to spend 10 years working across various magazines from Scene (super cool independent title) to Shine (a commercial fashion and beauty title) to Tatler, finishing on Harrods magazine as Fashion Director before leaving to have her twin girls.
Continuing as a freelance stylist, once she went back to work Gayle had the privilege of working with some amazing photographers and clients - most notably, shooting Helen Mirren with Jason Bell for 7 different publications in one day!
She entered the world of TV and entertainment 20 years ago and has gone on to work on over 25 different shows including Dancing On Ice, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Soapstar to Operastar and as Style Director on The Voice UK and The Voice Kids for 9 series on ITV.
Gayle’s easy going, yet intensely professional and hard-working reputation has gained her many leading celebrity clients over the years, including Zoe Ball, Helen Mirren, Alesha Dixon, Vick Hope, Anita Rani and The Duchess of York, many of whom request her in both a professional and personal capacity.
