The University Edit

The first year at university can be particularly overwhelming, not least because of all the stuff you need! Even if they are going into their second, third or even final fourth year there will always be things they need. This edit covers everything for year one and some extra bits for the rest of their time at University.
One great piece of advice someone gave my daughter is to get a door stop for your room door at halls. That way, it invites people to drop by and say hello. Especially in the first couple of weeks where everyone is new.
It’s also a good idea to encourage your child to discuss what they are bringing if they are moving into a house as they don’t want 5 toasters on display.
And anything space saving is also a great idea hence the over the door hanging storage.
